This starter set is a great value as a set. The Brine Recruit is not the best stick for a beginner though as the pocket is not as large as some of the other new player sticks and the netting not as stiff. The Joker Warrior is a better beginner's stick and was initially offered by Comlax with the starter set so I ordered it. They sent the Brine instead and wouldn't respond to my emails about it. In the end they wouldn't switch it and removed the offering from the website. The Warrior is about $12 more but worth it.

If you want to pick up a new sport, lacrosse is a great choice. And this starter package is the best way to start. It will definately get you through your first one or two years of lacrosse and is such a good value. You shouldnt buy expensive equipment untill you have some experience in lacrosse and know what kind of equipmeant best suits you. For the price, it has excellent quality, great performance, and it is visually appealing. I highly reccomend this package to anyone who wants to get involved in the sport of lacrosse.

This is a great package at a great price! I ordered it for my son and it arrived super fast! The pads, helmet, gloves and stick are very well made and the sizes were perfect with the online sizing chart. Very satisfied with my purchase!!!

I recently started playing lacrosse and this is a great starter package for everything except the stick, thick stick is awful but the pads are great
