Comlax Says: The STX Viper 2 is a good all-around lacrosse head. It offers a good design for a player that is looking to upgrade from their beginner stick, but doesn’t want a super aggressive head. This is a good head for any position on the field. Viper 2 has wider scoop w/ a slightly aggressive throat. The stringing capabilities are all there for all styles of pockets. Durability has always been this heads most consistent characteristic.

the viper 2 is a decent head. its not to pinched so its easy 2 catch. i use it as my backup head. its average weight. Overall decent.

I have had this head for almost three seasons. I got this head in my first year and it has helped me bring my game to the next level. It is sturdy enough for me to deliver poke checks and win ground balls with. If it is strung professionaly(I got mine done at comlax)it has a nice pocket which is easy to catch and dangle with. I would suggest this as a back up stick for a attackman, or a head for defensive minded middie wether for an LSM or not. The one thing that always seems to amaze my friends is its weight my coach relies on me to wear out the defense and the lightness of it allows me to cradle and pass with ease. For its price this is the best STX head there is out there.
