Brine RP3 II X Unstrung Lacrosse Head
The original RP3 head quickly became a staple after its release in 2014 thanks to its lightweight profile, superb string-ability, and fine tuned attack focus. For is successor, Brine made an effort to expand on the foundation they built with the original, while still incorporating some new technology to their elite design.
The most striking feature on the RP3 II Head is the bar running through the head's top string holes. This is a new execution of Brine's Vari-Flex technology where stiffer materials are inserted into strategic cross-sections of the head to control flex and adapt to multiple conditions and styles of play. This new exposed Vari-Flex core helps the head maintain ideal stiffness when ripping shots, (especially in hotter weather conditions) without sacrificing balance or weight in the process. Plus, lets be honest, who isn't looking forward to seeing what the stringers can do with that new anchor point?!
Meanwhile, as you move down the head you'll see Brine's precision sculpted Core-Tech. These strategic cut-out sections eliminate excess weight and add stiffness to strategic high traffic areas of the head for one of the best balances between weight and stiffness out there. This zoned stiffness allowed Brine to keep the head softer and more responsive for quick touch play, while still providing the stiffness needed to load up for a full power shot.
